Leaks are complicated. On the flip side, they cut.

On the other, they rob developers and publishers of their big coming out parties, a time of  elation and celebration during which they're finally able to share their job with the world after years of contractual silence. Hate them or love them, leaks happen, and 2019 was no exception.

Another escape, posted to ResetEra, could happen in May before Nintendo's scheduled E3 Direct. The interface will be confirmed during that Direct as The Witcher 3 Edition, bundling the base game with both expansions and 16 DLC packs.

It's show would have been a massive surprise on Microsoft's E3 stage... had it been leaked 2 days before. The info was supposedly revealed due to a link on writer Bandai Namco's website that was prematurely made public. Along with spoiling Elden Ring's show, the leak outed two other E3 announcements: Tales of Arise and Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Remastered for PS4 and PC (plus a Switch port of the first version).

A day after, the picture was apparently confirmed to be that. In response to a speculative post, game programmer Matthew Stott wrote in a since-deleted tweet,"It's a dev kit we've got some in the office."

Blizzard has confirmed that another attribute that  was gameplay will be dropped by Diablo 4 on PC, Xbox One, and PS4 from games. As you may recall, Blizzard has confirmed other cut features, such as an offline mode. In other words, it has not been doing itself any favors with lovers. But some of the confirmations should not sting just a little bit less than this one. In short, Ancient Items are being ditched by Diablo 4.
